Poem of the Month: Moons

I do like moon poems.

To the Moon [fragment] by Percy Bysshe Shelley (1792-1822)

Art thou pale for weariness
Of climbing Heaven, and gazing on the earth,
Wandering companionless
Among the stars that have a different birth,—
And ever changing, like a joyless eye
That finds no object worth its constancy?

  1. Since my 15 year old exclaimed “the moon really does look like a giant tortilla!”, la luna has had my attention. I love this. And I love the photo, too.
